I've been getting alot short to circuit faults and wondering how I can find out what's causing them using vagcom, was think to test relays see if any shot, or run output module tests, my mfsw as stopped working left side for stereo, and the horn stopped about 3yrs ago, mfsw getting incorrect code error, although nothing been changed/touched, and the horn as always read short to circuit, I've purchased new module and awaiting arrival, I've tested slipring with another, without any joy. So hoping module gone after about 4yrs use. I've been told could be relays some anyway I can test if relays OK, or would it be easier just swap them for new under dash?

If you do all these steps and after everything is codes and adapted/basic settings. If I were to disconnect the abs module/pump. Will I have to do it all over again?

Can’t see injector quantity amounts at idle I just get 0mg/stroke. I was slamming obd11 and bought VCDS but I was wrong it’s just not available which is odd

when I do tje first test it's ok and car disconected but when I connect the car (interface not found)..... what happen ?

I have had the HEX+CAN interface since around 2013 and I recently had to recover the laptop running win7 that I use for VCDS. Problem now is when installing the latest version of VCDS (23.11.0) when the "Device Driver Installation Wizard" comes up and click yes and always trust it just says "the drivers are now installing" and after 20 mins it is still there! This has NEVER happened before and I have now tried 5 times of reinstalling to no avail. Question -- where does the wizard place the drivers and can I not just take them from the VCDS folder and copy them into whatever folder the "wizard" is placing them?

Hi. I have a Seat ibiza 1.4 TSi 6j cupra, BocaNegrA version with 180hp. Original. I m doing the replacement of that throttle. But I also have to replace the other one behind . Exactly behind of that black plastic throttle, theres another metal throttle. So How can I differentiate the alignment from the plastic throttle to the metal throttle with VCDS and vagcom??

Silly question, but how do I know if I have the Standalone system that utilizes Battery Regulation, address 61 or the "Integrated into CAN" with the non-UDS? In both examples, the VCDS software says "Protocol: CAN" in the top left corner of the window.

Hi; when i go to the do the test output from the control Fan 2 on my VCDS, I only find the test for control Fan1. It seems that it was removed out of a thin air. Is there a way to bring it back. Thank you in advance.
